About us

A production hub shaped by people who work live.

We are engineers, directors and operators who have spent our careers in UK galleries and studios. Now we share that experience with teams building their own.

Our mission

dailymix exists to make live television production dependable. We connect studio equipment, camera technique, acoustics and lighting into one coherent system, then train the people who run it.

From regional news bulletins to long-form interviews and Saturday-night live shows, the principles stay the same: plan carefully, rehearse honestly and always keep a backup route ready.

What we stand for

Reliability over novelty

We choose proven kit and clear procedures so the programme, not the technology, is the story.

Craft on every shot

Good framing, clean sound and honest lighting are learned skills, and we teach them with care.

Plain-spoken planning

Fixed scopes, clear prices and documentation your whole crew can read and use.

Respect for the schedule

Live television does not wait, so we work backwards from your transmission date.

How we work with your team

We start with a site visit and a conversation about your programmes. From there we design, install and rehearse, then stay close through your first weeks on air.

Your crew learns on your own kit, in your own space, with documentation that stays with you long after we have left.
